From what I'm hearing he's staying at Anfield. But of course the trade winds can shift from one day to the next. I've also heard mention of a Xabi for Eto'o swap (you must be joking!), and even a Xabi for Dos Santos swap with cash considerations. I think Xabi's a player with "good touch" but he's too slow for my liking. I've just never been too keen on him for some reason? And if Rafa is considering replacing him with Gareth Barry what does that say about how "good" Alonso realy is?

I guess the trade winds must have shifted because there's a report that Juventus are lining up a £12million deal for Alonso. I guess this free's up the cash now for Liverpool to sign Barry.
