Barcelona is following Dutch League striker

Asked about the rumours linking the player with several Italian clubs, amongst which Inter Milan, Luca Pelizzon, one of the agents of AZ Alkmaar forward and Belgian international Moussa Dembele (20), said in an interview with Italian football site Tutto Mercato Web that also Barcelona is following the player:

"He's a great talent and is being followed by Barcelona and English teams. He plays as second striker, his main qualities are his speed and his technical ability. And he's very strong."

Great player!
Has everything to make it on the highest level! Barça, be quick, or anybody else will!

Everything but one thing: he doesn't really score a lot.

@Djoef, I think that still could change. If you see his goals against Serbia, that were top class finishes!

True, certainly one of them had everything: power, speed and finishing. But that was a real counter-attack goal and that's not really Barça-style. And he also misses a lot of easy chances.

Anyway, if Guardiola really is looking for a strong guy up front, he could be a good back-up for whatever top class guy will be brought in.

These striker links are so out of whack right now.We already have eto'o,henry and bojan fighting for one position on the team.I really dont think any other club in the world has such luxury at their disposal. So what would really be worthwhile is to focus more on positions that have real holes in them like right back, left wing and central playmaker.

One point i would like to add is that these kinds of stories relating average players to big clubs are generally the products of agents trying to make a quick buck.A player is being followed by a big club the agent tells the media and then the player asks for a wage increase to commit his future to the club, with the agent raking in his 5%.
