Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona hopes to raise 85 million euro by selling players this summer, which would give the club more financial power to build a new squad. This is how that amount should be collected:
Eto'o: 30 million euro (at least)
Ronaldinho: 25 million euro
Deco: 10 million euro
Zambrotta: 10 million euro
(one other player who doesn't really have to leave but who could go if a good offer comes in - Márquez, Henry, Giovani?): 10 million euro
pep's opinion:
(leaving aside the question if those players should be sold...) 30 million euro for eto'o is really the absolute minimum. i value him 35-40 (maybe even 45) million. ronaldinho is worth 25-30 million euro. plus 10-15 million variables, cause if he can get back in shape 25 million euro is ridiculous. 10 million euro for deco really is too low, you should go for 15 million euro, certainly after his good performances in the champions league semi-final. if you're lucky and a club really wants that type of player (this could be the case with bayern), you can get 20. for zambrotta, 10 million euro would be a good price. if you sell henry, you should be able to get 20 million euro, for giovani 15 million euro, for marquez 10 million euro. for gudjohnsen you could pick up another 6-8 million euro.

° 10 million euro =
16 million us dollar
8 million british pound
Eto'o - I hope he will not be sold. I dont see a reason to sell the best striker in the world and get someone worse for the same or even higher price (Adebayor, Benzema, Drogba).
Ronaldinho - How you said Pep, 25 + some mony if he can get back in shape. His true football value is maybe 10-15 million but he has still his marketing value like Beckham.
Deco - This guy is still topclass and with a new motivation he can be still one of the best. 15 mio minimaly, the offer from Bayern is good.
Henry - he will stay. But theoretically his price should be same as we paid.
Marquez - I really hope this guy will be sold. Alway injured and behaving unprofessional. I think its impossible to get more than 10 mio for him, maybe if Inter would be interested.
Gudjohnsen - If this guy wants to return to England, we should get a lot of money for him! English clubs pay a lot, just remember the prices for Bent, Bosingwa or Modric. 10 million would be a fine price.
@Pep.. Good observations. I agree in your price estimates.
Especially regarding Eto and Ronnie
Eto'o - I think it's going to be realy difficult to get your asking price for him. Even if a team had the money to pay for his transfer cost, meeting his wage demands might be a different story. Only a handfull of clubs can realistically afford him and so far only AC Milan seems to a be a club that could satisfy both criteria (transfer cost and wage demands). And if you can't find another suitable bidder to bid against Milan then why should Milan "outbid" themselves for him? You have to hope that a club, like Man U (who could use a striker) step up and show some interest in him in order to inflate the asking price.
Ronaldinho - He's pretty much "damaged goods" right now and it doesn't help that EVERYONE knows Barcelona seems desperate to offload him. Barcelona's realy in a "no win" situation here. Because if they let him go for far less than his value the Board is going to get crucified in the media for basically "giving him away". If he stays, you have to question his 'committment' to the club (which was already on shaky ground) because how can you expect him to give "his all" when over the Spring and Summer Barcelona were so eager to let him go. He will be almost like an "orphan" on the club. Staying put only because Barcelona couldn't find a suitable home (asking price) for him and not by choice.
Deco - He may turn out to be Barcelona's "saving grace". He should still have another 2-3 good years left in him and he is still highly regarded around the world. If he puts in a solid showing in the Euro Championship (which he seems determined to do) that could even increase his value even more. Plus, there are no shortage of teams that would love to have him. At a much more modest price than Eto'o Barcelona shouldn't have much trouble getting the right price for him.
Henry - It just "makes sense" for him to stay. He wouldn't command even half as much as Eto'o on the transfer market. Plus he's coming off a less than stellar season. Given the opportunity to play up front instead of on the wing he could be in for a special season. With all the rumors circulating that he's "washed up" and "not the player he once was" I think he'll have more than enough motivational ammunition to prove the media and the pundits wrong this upcoming season.
Gudjohnsen - Why he continues to linger around I have no idea? Without given the assurance of quality minutes he still stubbornly stays on board. If he's realy interested in playing football again he should go to England. I'm sure Tottenham or Newcastle would be interested. And at this point, even if you could squeeze 5-6mil Pound for him I'd jump at it if I was Barcelona. He's "dead weight" on the club anyway, so might as well get whatever you can for him.
