Asked about the rumour that Bayer Leverkusen central defender and Barcelona loan out Henrique (22) will have to return to Barcelona (read more here), Bayer Leverkusen sports director Rudi Völler has said in an interview with German tabloid Bild that the club wants to keep the player for one more season:
"I don't know anything about it, we keep on waiting and we'll do everything to keep Henrique until 2010. A decision will be made in the next four to six weeks. Of course it's clear that it will Barcelona who will decide on his future."
Asked if Barcelona central defender and Uruguay international Martín Cáceres (21) could join Bayer Leverkusen on loan if Henrique will return to Barcelona (read more here), Völler said that option is not on the table right now: "We sure know the player Cáceres. But we don't know anyhting about the possibility of him joining our team."

they should collect caceres and returne henrique
They seem to be impressed by Henrique also they don't seem to be closing the door to a Caceres exchange. I hope we do it. Caceres is just not good enough at present and it will be interesting to see how Henrique does.
I disagree. Caceres hasnt been as bad as people have made him out to be. he needs time to get accustomed to his new environment. Look at henry between last year and this year. Caceres just needs to get settled and he will be fine. He isnt looking to leave and i think he should get more chances as the season progresses. if by the end of the season he isnt playing any better then i think we should loan him out.
I agree with barca4life, we just don't see the best of Caceres yet. Let him progress and get more playing time until the end of this season, then we'll decide.
I think the problem with Henry was the adaptatoin to Spanish football from EPL... Caceres has already had his time to adapt when he was at Deportivo...
