Sergio Garcia is not a priority

Both main Catalan sports papers claim that former Espanyol Barcelona player 'Mágico' Díaz, the agent of Zaragoza forward and Spanish international Sergio García (24), met yesterday in Barcelona with Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain (read more here).

Díaz was informed that Sergio García is considered to be an interesting player, but that he's not a priority and certainly not when Zaragoza holds on to the 18 million euro° buyout clause.

Because José Ramón Alexanko, the head of the Barcelona youth academy, assisted the meeting, it is believed that the main topic during the meeting were the possible transfers of youth players. Díaz represents several players of Barcelona B and other youth categories.

This player is great, I would like to see Barca sign him (ok, not for 18 mio - thats bs).

Sergio Garcia has something to offer. He is fast and straight-lined, he could be a little bit like Giuly. As an alternative for the wings great! And he could play a striker as well too...
