There's a rumour/conspiracy theory/urban legend about Manchester United winger and Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo (23) running through Barcelona these days. Because it's a really nice one, I don't want to hold it from you.
One.
Ronaldo is using the interest of Real Madrid to pressure Manchester United manager Ferguson, hoping Sir Alex will in the end just throw him out. When Manchester agrees with an exit, Ronaldo would nevertheless not go to Madrid. But to Barcelona.
Two.
Ronaldo would have agreed with sports supplier Nike that he would join Barcelona to replace there Ronaldinho as the star of a team that is officially sponsored by Nike.
Three.
The man behind the whole strategy would be former Barcelona sports vice president and former Nike executive Sandro Rosell. Rosell thinks that the vote of no confidence against the Barcelona board will succeed, which would mean there will be presidential elections in a few months time. Rosell will most probably take part in the presidential race and would start as the favourite candidate. The transfers of Ronaldo and of Portuguese national team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari would be the secret weapon of Rosell in those elections.

haha this is a good one.. Never going to happen though... we dont have the balls as an organization to pull this one off.
Too many people with too much free time it seems these days. I for one hope Ronaldo joins Madrid and brings down their "recent" harmonious locker room like a house of cards! He is not a team player and his selfishness, cockiness and bravado can only serve to insulate and alienate himself from his teammates. Ronaldo makes Eto'o come across as a patron saint! This guy's not worth the money nor the trouble.
Fabolous player, but so ignorant and selfish, I wish he never plays for Barca...
An interesting plot, but if he want replace Dinho as the main of Barca, I would say Keep On Dreaming. There's now this player (CR) could surpass Dinho in couple of years.
But I don't mind if he gonna come, as long we can beat madrid and become the champions of major title.
I don't like his attitude in the pitch and I like to see him sinking down along with MU.
Are you joking, he can never fill up th ronaldinhos place, Ronaldinho has made a history.
@author: Where did you get this from? Source=rumours in BCN?
It was a rumour, but I see that today some papers are picking it up. I'll make another post on it later today...
Ronaldinho should come back to form and play for Barca!!
If Ronaldinho does then there would be no more required transfers for attack... Except maybe Guiza and Silva... Not for any reason in particular but it would be nice to watch them play for Barca... But absolutely NOT necessary if Ronaldinho comes back to form (Except maybe Alves for right back, since Zambrotta is heading to AC)...
Whatever Ronaldinho chooses... will still respect him for the player that he is, a player who have done so much for Barca and also a player that can still do so much more if he chooses to stay with Barca...
Pep should have a talk with him and see where he stands with continue playing with Barca... Laporta said he needs motivation, how about winning la liga, champions league and copa del rey with Barca without losing a single match (I know, I know, its really out there but hey its motivation right?)... How about that for motivation =)
C. Ronaldo is such a telented player. I know he likes to show off but thats because he plays with "skilless" players. Scholes, Rooney, brown, carrick.. I didnt say there not effective or good players!!! When he looks around and sees INIESTA,MESSI,XAVI,Titi, SAMUEL AND RONNIE...so tell me Y would he be arogant or show off! He would be great addition but that would also mean some leaving. cos Ronaldo wont seat happily on any bench. Lets be careful what we ask for. Long live BARCA
Ronaldo is a very good player but that will never happen. It's like something out of a movie
