Metz attacking midfielder Miralem Pjanic (18) will not play for Barcelona as of next season, like had been rumoured over the last months (read more here).
French champions Olympique Lyon announced yesterday a five-year deal with the player. Lyon pays a transfer fee of 7,5 million euro° (+ 1,25 million euro variables).

Wise decision from this wizz-kid! Needs more experience on a higher level, Lyon is perfect for him.
If he is really a world class player, barça can pick him up later. We got enough talent in our Cantera!
Well.... The advantage with picking him up now is that he is cheap. If we buy him when he is 20+ and playing for Lyon he will cost at least 30 million.
I agree. Waiting a couple of years is only going to triple his value or more! Too bad we couldn't have signed him and then loaned him out for a year or two.
