As back-up ha would be great. But he's maybe a little too expensive for that role.

Admittedly I don't know much about this lad, so I'm hoping that some of you guys can enlighten me on what kind of skills he brings to the table? Is he "first team" material? and what would you assume is his "worth"?(reasonable transfer fee). Although it does make me wonder if Barcelona are doing their due diligence and turning over every rock, or if they are simply grasping at straws at this point?

They're just monitoring the market, I guess. He's a very explosive player, the typical creative midfielder, good runs, good passes. Maybe a bit light for the liga at the moment, should get some more strength. But very talented, nice player to watch.

Guess 10-15 million euro would be the price (although don't really have a clue).

I have been following him for a long time. He is going to be a better version of Phillip Cocu. In fact, he played with the later for a few seasons. I think he will be great for Barca, and I mean as a starter.
