The Bosnian football association has dismissed former Barcelona forward Meho Kodro (41) as Bosnian national team coach last weekend.
The Bosnian manager, who was appointed in January of this year, refused to take charge of the team for a friendly game against Iran scheduled for this week because he hadn't been asked for his approval of the match.
Mehmed "Meho" Kodro arrived in Barcelona from Real Sociedad in the summer of 1995. Due to injuries and worries related to the war in his home country he didn't perform at the level that was expected. After one season he left for Tenerife.
