Crosas goes French / 25

Olympique Lyon won yesterday, 1-0 against Nancy. With only one game to go in the French Ligue 1, Lyon has a two-point lead on second-placed Bordeaux.

Barcelona loan out Marc Crosas (20) started on the bench and stayed there for 90 minutes.

The thing I don't understand about this guy is that theoreticaly speaking he's not getting any greater opportunities with Lyon than if he was promoted from Barca's "B" squad (which would have been a distinct possibility with all the injuries this season). So why would he declare his wish to remain at Lyon? I must be missing something here? perhaps he just can't get enough of those warm baguettes?

He misses the Spanish kitchen, so it can't be that last thing...

Some guys could leave (Kallstrom, Bodmer) or retire (Juninho), what can increase his chances to play. He also arrived in January, so he wasn't really prepared (physically) to really rival for a place as regular. Let's not underestimate the fact that it was a step from the spanish fourth division to the top of the french league.

He just thinks: in Barcelona I won't get a chance anyway, so then this could be good. But over there it could be almost as hard to play himself in the team. Let's see what Guardiola decides.
