The Catalan press yesterday handed Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard, who will leave the club after five seasons, a goodbye gift: a shirt with the phrase "Mai fumaràs sol", which is Catalan for "You'll never smoke alone". Rijkaard, who was known to be a chain smoker, thanked them for the gesture but added that he had quit smoking since a few days.

How touching!...and quite ironic considering that it was probably the media's constant hammering of the team and Rijkaard in the press that lead him to chain smoke in the first place!
