First talks between Eto'o and Tottenham

Madrid sports tabloid As claims that Tottenham officials have met with the agents of Barcelona forward Samuel Eto'o (27) last week and that a new meeting in scheduled in London later this week.

With Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov wanting to leave in the summer, Eto'o should become the key player of the ambitious new project of Tottenham manager Juande Ramos. Tottenham president Daniel Levy would have given his authorization to start negotiations with Barcelona on the transfer fee. The Cameroonian international has a contract with Barcelona until 2010 and a buyout clause of 150 million euro°.

He would do great there, but he won't go this summer. What about his contract until 2010, shouldn't they start renewing that???

This has to be the most dummiest stunt and rumour tha shit newspaper AS has produced? I mean, Samuel is involved in very very imported CL semi-final against Manchester United and he should be holding transfer talks with a small club like Tottenham? How stupid do they think we are?

Hilarious!

It's hilarious but i'm sure some madridistas hope it's true. They let Eto'o go and prefered to spend their money on Owen :-))))
