Barcelona economic vice president Ferran Soriano, who says the club is now focusing on the Champions League, couldn't confirm in an interview with British radio station BBC Radio 5 Live that Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard (45) will still be in charge next season: "You can never say 100% that he will stay because at the end of the season we're going to review the performances of the players and coach. We've been with him for five years and he has been doing an extremely good job. We like the way he works, his personal style and the way he represents the club. Obviously the fact we are not getting the results in the domestic league is the fault of everybody including us and including him but we are very happy with Frank Rijkaard."
Asked about the rumours linking the Dutch manager with English top club Chelsea (read more here and here), vice president Soriano said that he can't see that happen at this stage: "I think he has no plan to leave Barcelona and go to Chelsea."
