Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona midfielder Deco (30), who was disappointed on Saturday cause he did not play one minute against Espanyol but was calmed down the day after by assistant coach Johan Neeskens, will probably not continue in Barcelona next season.
In the next summer transfer window the Brazilian born Portuguese international is most likely to move to Italy and to join one of the two top clubs from Milan. If former Chelsea manager José Mourinho, who was Deco's coach with Porto, becomes the new Inter Milan manager, the midfielder would prefer to go to Inter and be reunited with his old coach. If that condition is not met, Deco would sign for AC Milan.
Asked about the rumours linking several players with a summer exit, Deco said today at a press conference that this is normal when a team is not playing well and not winning trophies: "But this not the time to talk about transfers. This is going on for the whole season now and I think it's all a bit weird."
