Portuguese football finances website Futebol Finance has drawn up a list of the 50 best paid football players in the world.
The site claims that Barcelona player Lionel Messi is the third best player in the world with a year salary of 8,4 million euro.
Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto'o also make the top-ten with 7,5 million euro. Three other Barcelona players are metnioned in the list: Carles Puyol, Andrés Iniesta and Xavi are ranked 29th with a presumed salary of 5 million euro a year.
This is the top-10 of the list:

i can't even name a striker whose on the same level as him .
and before i get hammerd with comments note that i said STRIKER so messi is'nt included.
when there was a rumer that he was close to joining barca i said two things (tixiki=geunius , moratti=ideot) too bad he renewed his contract.
They all dont deserve this "silly money" way too much.

I rate Eto'o a better striker than Ibrahimovich .. Don't get me wrong, Ibra is class, but Eto'o fits our system better. Plus Ibra doesn't score 19 goals in 19 matches :)

I'd rather die before I see Ibrahimovic in a Barca-shirt. You'd need to look far to find a more arrogant person than him.
