Tevez offers himself for five years

British tabloid The Daily Mirror claims that Manchester United forward and Argentinian international Carlos Tévez (24) has been offered to Barcelona by his representatives (read more here).

With Manchester United postponing the negotiations on a permanent deal for Tevez, the agents of the Argentinian striker would have sounded out Barcelona about signing a five-year contract and a deal worth 28 million euro at the end of the season.

Sorry Carlito, not interested, even if you offer yourself for free, you'll just be a benchwarmer.

No thanks. Too expensive and we dont have space with henry messi and etoo scoring like houses on fire. Hleb, Bojan and gai also waiting for their chances, along with pedro.

YES WE NEED THIS GUY AS A LEFT FORWARD HE WOULD MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN TE TEAM. HENRY IS NOT GOOD AT ALL IN BARCELONA. CARLOS, I THINK YOU SHOULD GET A ONE WAY TICKET TO BARCELONA, SPAIN AND HENRY SHOULD GET A ONE WAY TICKET BACK TO LONDON, ENGLAND.

BARCELONA IF THE FORWARD LINE UP WOULD BE LIKE THIS;

-----MESSI-----ETO'O-----TEVEZ-----

YOU DONT HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HE WOULD CHANGE THE TEAM HE IS ONE OF THE BEST STIKERS IN THE WORLD HE EVEN CHANGES GAMES AT LIKE 90 MIN SAY HIS TEAM IS LOOSING LIKE 1-0 HE IS STILL TRYING HIS BEST UNTIL THAT REF WHISTLES 1..2..3.

BARCELONA WE REALLY NEED CARLOS TEVEZ.

Tevez >> (Present) Henry anyday !!

But at the moment Tevez is out of form and for all we care hez a striker and not a winger.
He would hav bin an option for Eto'o replacement but Eto'o aint leaving and itz that simple.
We dont need Tevez.

What we need is a henry repalcemnt next season and that is Aguero.

sith Lord..its very sad u cld do this... its always best to contest on level grounds.. why are u using "present Henry".. its either best o Henry V best of Tevez or Present Henry V present Tevez.. I dont think a LF is doing badly scoring 11 goals and 7 assist half way into the season.. Tev might not do better and look how much that would cost us.. Henry was 16M Tevez is gonna be double 32M.. + am not sure if Beltrocco is still watching the Liga.. Henry has beena s good as anyone else this season...
Be careful what you all wish for....

He is a good player and works very hard but I don't think he is what we need. The 30 odd million quoted would be well better spent reinforcing other areas like Asenjo and the left side of defence and attack. Henry has proven what a professional and fantastic player he is. His experience is extremely valuable especially to young players like Messi and Bojan. For me there is no comparison. Henry hands down over Teves. I really hope he stays for at least another 2-3 years.

Yeah, I agree with almost everyone on here when I say thanks but thanks. Not because I don't think he is good enough, but we simply don't need to aquire another striker competing for the starting striker within our line up. Don't spend money where its not needed.

Don't be so quick to even judge players like Thierry Henry he is one goal short to match Messi's 12 goals so far this season....Then there is a 3 way tie between him, Messi, Higuain, and Forlán in La Liga.

I do like Thierry and think he is definatly playing class futbol, and scoring important goals. But as far as purchasing goes we could pick up Asenjo and Aguero for next season.

Wow. I can only suggest that people who think Tevez on the left would be an improvement over Henry didn't spend much time watching this season.

Tevez is talented, versatile and energetic. He also has a good head. And as a second striker, he'd be great if we didn't already have an exceptional one. Is he worth signing for the future? Yes, but not for the asking price in an absurdly inflated transfer market. For that kind of money, you want a no-questions-asked match changer.

He also has the same difficulty as Aguero, in that he is short. So we're still left with a Plan A attack option, and no Plan B, for the 10 men behind that ball that we're going to see all next season.
