Catalan sports Sport claims that Barcelona player Andrés Iniesta is recovering well from the quadriceps injury he suffered during the Champions League game against Basel on 4 November (read more here).
Although it has been scheduled by the medical staff that Iniesta could reappear on 4 January against Mallorca, since he will have totally recovered by then, it's not excluded that Iniesta could be available for the game against Real Madrid on 13 december or the game against Villareal one week later.

They should just let him recover fully instead of risking his future health over a prestigious match. A loss in El Classico will be forgotten or at least be bearable, a loss of Iniesta for several months could have a serious influence on our title-chase.
total bs... that just reduces to half the amount of recovery time... Sport keeps coming up with all this every now and then
Not worried about El Classico and really feel that Iniesta needs to fully recover and be ready for the La Liga and CL run in March-May.
