when Barcelona travelled to Basel, Guardiola was seen buying this book by Swedish left-wing journalist and writer Stieg Larsson (1954-2004) at the airport

Note

This is the translation of the Spanish title of the book, I'm aware that this is slightly different from the original title.

A more correct translation would be: Men who hate women :)

Yupp, like Stugsby says should be "Men who hate women" but you got it right in swedish that's enough for me.

Tack för den bästa bloggen Pep ;)

Hmmm .. Suspicous, maybe a book for gay football players.

pep, is guardiola gay? I dont mean it as a slur, I just was wondering if you knew.

In case anyone wanted to know more about the book, here's a wikipedia article about it. It was retitled in the english translation:

I translated the Spanish title, guys. Like I noted in the first comment I know this isn't exactly the title in Swedish. Book that are translated often also get another title...

And don't read too much in a title anyway. As far as I know Guardiola isn't gay. At least he is married and has three children, the last one was born earlier this year.

Yes i know Pep, just wasn't sure if it was because you didn't know the exact title in Swedish or you just liked it like that :)

As far as Guardiola being gay, the book is simply a novel, a crime-story as far as i know. It has nothing to do with sexuality or anything, simply a book to burn some time at the hotel when away :)

If I'm not totally out in the blue i think Stieg Larsson died a couple of years ago just as he had finnished three books simultaneously. This task evidently became his death and was a result of beeing pressured by the book-lable. He was also known for his anti-rasist engagement and was a not a novel-writer untill these last three books. As I recall it he thought of the genre as an easy (because of it's simplicity) way to get a good pension. Ironiskt nog blev det hans död.
