A Guardiola interview is here: http://www.fcbarcelona.cat/web/english/noticies/futbol/temporada08-09/09/n080920105326.html

He's emphasizing that people shouldn't give the team too much credit for improving and playing well, that winning is paramount.

To wit: "despite playing well, it's logical that the team needs to start winning soon"

damn. i realy understand emotions about what happening with the team, but damn... guys could u take it more easy about your coments.... , because for me it's looks like u are all finished managment classes, and have more quality rather then Pep. after i read all your comments. :/

@Anonymous: bullshit, they're 100 %right. Winning is not matter of time, today or tomorrow, it's matter of mentality.

HouseMD (and some others), pepe is simply applying a psychological technique he learned when he studied for his coaching license, its something similar to what happen when you right click on your desk top and click "refresh", now i understand that its not easy for most of the people to understand the impact of this strategy in the dressing room, but I expect more respect for a legend as pep guardiola even if u think he is wrong, because if it will be our word against his word, taking in consideration his experience in the game - and his education, its not hard to tell who's word is more reliable, is it?

I may not understand some of his decisions (even though till now he seems like knowing exactly what to do), but I will never be silly enough to act as a smart A** insulting THIS MAN. When I know that as a teenager this guy celebrated a CL with legends and I hope pepe can post that famous photo of pepe the child with crazy emotions after the win, that child who turned to become the leader of Barcelona Dream team and now turned to become the coach of Barcelona, A person who dedicated his life for this team deserve more respect.

And by the way if some people doubt pep winning mentality then believe me you know nothing about him, this is the only thing that is out of doubt...

fuck Ramzi its SO NICE to have someone on blogs that has some intelligence and understanding and respect. your 100% right. pep hasnt put a foot wrong so far (besides maybe the transfers and abdial) and people are on his ass for no reason disrepecting him. this quote when looked at in full context was completely appropriate.

he was my one of my favorite players growing up and i personally love having him on the bench, if the results come with him then its a match made in barca heaven.
