Ramos appointment means extra work for staff

Because of the dismissal of Real Madrid manager Bernd Schuster earlier this week, the preparatory scouting work by technical staff members Domènec Torrent and Carles Planchart lost a lot of its value and the staff now has to work overtime preparing the league game against Madrid.

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that the technical staff has been analyzing in the last days games played by Sevilla and Tottenham, the former clubs of new Real Madrid manager Juande Ramos. One of the matches that has been watched is the 2-1 victory over Sevilla in the Camp Nou in September 2007.

Madrid's Champions League game against Zenit Saint Peterburg has been closely followed, with special attention for the set pieces. Madrid sports tabloid As claims that Torrent and Planchart were present at the Bernabeu stadium on Wednesday where they made specific recordings while sitting among the regular fans.

Barcelona players Daniel Alves and Seydou Keita, as well as Barcelona assistant coach Tito Vilanova, have been coached by Juande Ramos and will also give their opinion about the manager.

this could be one of the reasons that made them bring Ramos in at this odd timing, because it's obvious that they didn't have anything to lose!, so why not to mix the things up for Guardiollas men?

This particular game, is hardly a pure technical one, anyways.

they can get lot of hints from Zenit game, ramos had no choice but to try things in that game.

As i mentioned once, Pep technical staff remind me of France in World cup 1998, they had an army of professionals dealing with each and every detail.

How come the Madrid press got to know of the two scouts?
