Madrid sports tabloid As claims that Ajax Amsterdam is interested in Barcelona forward and Spanish youth international Bojan Krkic (18).
Bojan would be the first choice of Ajax manager Marco van Basten to replace Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who joined Real Madrid, as centre forward. Ajax would prefer a permant move over a loan deal and is therefore willing to put between 12 and 15 million euro° on the table during the winter transfer market.
Bojan, who signed a contract renewal until 2013 last August (read more here), wouldn't be willing to consider a permanent move to the Dutch club but could accept a loan in order to get more playing time.

12-15 million euro =
15-19 million us dollar
11-13 million british pound
Loan move or not, lets wait till summer, the guy would come in handy as we are still chasing Liga, UCL, kings cup. so we need every first teamer. If we get Karim in the summer, we would sell Titi. so we would be left with Samu, Karim (if we get him) and Bojan.
no ty ajax, but you can get sylvinho if you want.no loan deal either the kid develops better at barca, and pep shows he trusts him and use him alot
First and foremost he should stay. He is our future together with Piqué, Busquets and Messi. They will be our backbone in a couple of years.
Second, the transfer fee is a joke. We are talking about one of the most talented players in the world playing for one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world! Something between 30-40 million would be reasonable considering the current prices on the transfermarket.
Great points SimonP. I couldn't have said it any better!!!!
As an Ajax fan as well I have to say that's completely wrong and random speculation trying to unsettle some teams. Pfft
Purportedly the FCB staff are open to a loan move. Of course it would be bad if there was an injury but it could be good a few reasons.
#1. Similar style of play between Ajax/FCB and Eredivisie/LFP. Bojan would see regular playing time in a team with a similar philosophy to FCB and a league that could help acclimate him to the LFP.
#2. Ajax's youth setup. Like Barca they know how to develop youth talent, they would know how to integrate Bojan into the team without too much pressure.
#3. Dennis Bergkamp. He is an assistant to Van Basten, definitely can't hurt if Bojan learns a thing or two from him.
It seems that a lot of people want Bojan to have a bigger role at FCB, similar to how Messi quickly became a must start. Rememeber that Messi only had to compete with Guily, who was on his way out. For Bojan to see much playing time there would have to be an injury not only to Eto'o but also Henry. Yes, he would learn just by practicing with players like Eto'o and Henry but a player with his potential should see regular first team football.
Good thought, Oranje!
