The Frenchman, who has been training with the squad since last Thursday, is therefore available for the league game against Valencia on Saturday.
After Abidal had to leave a training session on 30 October, a meniscal cyst in his right knee was discovered. The club preferred a conservative treatment rather than a surgical procedure (read more here).

puyol can go back to his natural habbitat
I don't think he'll play the whole game tho. But will be interesting to see if he is up to par.
I want to see more caceres !
he'l be sub for caceres or the other way round...
I say rest him.. let Caceres takes the job or play Abidal for 5-10 minutes before full time.
I think Caceres plays better as a left full back than as a center back. When playing as center back, he makes too many lethal mistakes.
I think he has the potential to be very good full back like sergio ramos.
