International: No wins for Barça's Latin Americans

On Tuesday, Uruguay drew two all in Bolivia. Barcelona central defender Martín Cáceres played the whole game.

Brazil were yesterday held to their third successive home goalless draw in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, this time against Colombia, on Wednesday. Barcelona right back defender Daniel Alves didn't make the bench.

Argentina lost 1-0 against Chile yesterday. Barcelona right wing attacker Lionel Messi played the whole match. Barcelona central defender Gabriel Milito is still injured.

Mexico drew two all against Canada. Barcelona central defender Rafael Márquez was suspended.

The three goup winners and the three runners-up will form one group. The top 3 teams qualify for the 2010 World Cup. The 4th placed team enters a home-and-away playoff with the 5th placed South-American team.

the good thing is, that we will have a good break from the international games for a while..and I suppose that our men had came back home with minimal losses "injuries". although, our Euro champions and Messi played had the graetest deal of playing time in the last months wich could show it's negative effect as the league goes on.

totally unrelated to barca, but dunga has to be one of the worst managers around. he totally sucks. from his team selection to his tactics. what a clown. perfect situation of an ex-player given too much with no justification. risky strategy (so far workign alright for us however).
