Barcelona has officially announced that Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (29) came back injured from international duty.
Gudjohnsen has a slight tear in one of the hamstring muscles in the back of the thigh of his left leg.
Gudjohnsen will almost certainly miss the next two games, on Sunday against Athletic Bilbao and next week against Basel. On Friday he will undergo a further set of exams to determine precisely what is wrong and then start a recovery program.
Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Gudjohnsen will be out for at least one month.
