i support u KOYYA,and even if we want to buy a center forward.it should be sergio kun aguero.65 million, what a bull shit price and the president his even asking for 100 million euros.just a laughing matter.

I don't think it's true, but if it is, 100M is overestimated price. In that case, Barca should ask 150M for Eto'o. According to Benzema's interviews recently he'd prefer move to RM, but all these stories are bulls--t. Not just the price is overrated, his performances are overrated too.
Barca should focus on to how renew Eto'o's contract. On the other side, Barca will need another striker next season and I see Villa as perfect replacement for Henry (if he leaves) and Eto'o (African c'ship). Anyway, Valencia will sell him for 35-45M.

I agree with you guys! Agüero is a far better player than Benzema. So far Benzema hasn't shown anything that justifies even 30 million euros. Kun should be our main target, if someone upfront leaves that is. Otherwise I dont se it happening. We will have a fantastic four once again, and we all know what happend last time...

are u kidding me??65m euro is ridiculous amount of money....i dont even want to go beyond 30m-35m for that man..forget above 50m...
rightly said as overestimated !!!!

I wish Barca would make a move on the contract negotiations with players like Eto'o and Toure. 65 mill is a stupid price to offer for someone who isn't worth even half that amount.

Isnt aguero's buyout clause like 60million euros? why not spend our money on him rather than benzema. He could form a legendary strike partnership with messi.

Lyon always ask a lot for their players. It somehow has become the speciality of Aulas to buy the best players in France pretty cheap and then later sell them for the highest price possible. Smart, but not very nice for us. He know's he has got a rough diamont with Benzema and I am sure he will sell him at an 'overrated' price. To who, we'll have to see...

For those who keep talking about Eto'os renewal: I do believe this is very important, but it goes together with atracting a new big name attacker (like aguero, villa or even Benzema). This mainly because of the difficult negotiations with Samuel at the moment. I read he want's to earn 9 million! euro a year. A wage higher than Messi has!!! So I recon his renewal won't be as easy as some hope (something I also see happening with Valdes). Eto'o is great for us at the moment, but I am shure he won't just sign any contract. Especialy with interested clubs offering an astronomic wage. Just only look at Manchester City. They also are the reason why Touré suddenly want's to earn much more then before.
Beside that Eto'o knows he is the big reference for the central forward, which makes his negotiation position even better. Having another big name back up (besides Bojan who is talented, but young and not regular enough yet) will probably make him think twice before asking a wage we wouldn't even gain in a lifetime.

Where did u read about Eto'o's wage demands?

I choose to quote Gimli from The Return of the King.

- Let him stay there. Let him rot! Why should we care?

...to buy at those prizes would make us following the footsteps of real madrid, chelsea or other clubs who think they can buy success with expensive highpaid players...the way on which we are now proved us which is the right one...we lost deco and dinho, but won something bigger...unity and acceptance among each other...everyone feels to be a part of something big without the media highlighting and making only one the reason for the success...when people now talk about barca they are talking about the team as one and not about dinho or like they did about rivaldo at his time...that's also a similarity to the team of '92...to pay so much for benzema would be not only wrong because of the fee...he showed that he's good, but had never the chance to show if he's worldclass to have a worldclass-transfer-fee...there are many more strikers, not as good as benzemas 100%,but with the will to give 200% to play for barca...i like benzema, but to pay so much for him is an insult for players like batigol was or others who earned their prize by constantly performance...we should be clever and don't play every game...ONE LOVE!!!!!...BARCA IS BIGGER THAN EVERY BIGHEAD!!!!!

i don't know why you guys hate him just cuz he said that he likes RM
just like my friend from the GODFATHER said "IT'S JUST BUSINESS"
i've seen him play and not based on videos from youtube
he's got it all ,finishing , skill , strength .
i agree that 65 mil is too much but stop underestemating him , i know that your thinking about the euros but the entire team was crap.
as for aguero, id sighn him with my eyes closed but he too has disadvantages , he's rarely fit.
and face it guys in case we win trophies, etoo can and will hold us for ransome.
BOTTOM LINE we need two of these three and the third is a must : aguero , benzima , silva
I respect your views but that's my opinion.

Benzema shows his skills in the frensh leauge and with Leyon that dominates completly the league.

Can he preform in high lever in a better and harder league as primera division?

I am not sure, and if one is not sure already from the begining, so no chance to pay so much money.

It is important also to have the right caracter (to fight in hardtimes and so on).
Does Benzemma have the right caracter? i am not sure about it nighter.

I even dont think that Guardiola wants him.
In case of buying it will be a galacticos buying from Laporta, before finishing his time in Barca (2010).

I dont want to buy players for fancy. I want to buy players that fits to the trainer´s (Pep) ways of thinking.

I dont want him in Barca, simply that.

He definatly does not have the right character nor do I think he would blend well with PeP. IMO Leon Dragon summed it up best ''you cannot buy success'' and ''when people talk about Barca they talk about the team'' as a whole, not one individual player.Even my gay-ass Man U and Real Madrid loving friends show an amazing amount of respect for this 08-09 Barca squad...in form, disciplin and character. All the hallmarks of true champions and a modern dream team.I say work on negoations with Eto'o and Toure if you have to make a buy go with Kun Aguero.

i think benzema is to god and he is big and that could help barca because all barca players are a litle short and they must attac only with passes but i think that bojan is great and that what they are doing to him is ununderstaning they should give him more chnces to show his qulity i think he could be
as messi
