Hey Pep its the original barcalife from the tribalfootball site. I was wondering if you can put a stat for how many games each player has played in as well. Also where do you get your stats from? i have seen some different stats for the number of assists for messi. I trust yours more than those from soccernet and foxsportsworld though because they dont really care about spanish football but i'd like to know where you get your stats from.

I'm not getting my stats anywhere, meaning I'm jsut making them myself based on what I see during the games. Assists is indeed a tricky thing, so depending on the definition on an assist, you'll have different numbers.
We're working on getting the stats a little more extensive. I'm taking you suggestion (games played) with me, but don't expect that you'll have it next week, but somewhere in the future for sure! Feel free to remind me every now and then.
Ok thanks dude. But for example do you consider an assist to be given the player making the last pass before the goal or do you consider lets say if there was a great run by messi who then passes to xavi who makes the final pass before the goal to be an assist for messi as well?
I was wondering about where you got the assists stats as well.
The official Barça website keeps track of assists too, and they give Messi only 2 in the league.
Assists is all about the definition, jr. Check five sites and you'll have five different numbers.
I basically take the last pass (in your example, barça4life, only xavi gets the assist), plus causing a penalty or a free-kick.
