Italian sports paper La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Barcelona is interested in Inter Milan forward Julio Ricardo Cruz (34) (read more here).
The contract of Cruz expires at the end of this season and with Inter not yet having proposed a renewal and the relation with new Inter manager José Mourinho being tensed, the Argentinian striker would be willing to listen to offers from other clubs.
Barcelona would already have contacted Cruz to sound him out on a transfer in the next transfer window in January. Barcelona player Lionel Messi would have advised the club to try to sign his compatriot.

Henry out for a decent price and Cruz in for almost nothing: could sound good on paper.
Or else next summer for free. With Cruz and a left winger we'd be all set, I think.

Why not? He would be perfect player for Barcelona! Clinical, tall, good heading, good technique, willing to sit on the bench, and FREE...Remember Larsson?? Better getting Cruz then Trezeguet or Adebayor who demands first team football.
Barcelona NEED player for plan B when opposition play defensively.

I also think this would be a good move. Tall player with good heading and finishing would add another dimension to our attack. Also we finally have player who can cross, Alves, so why not.

I've just heard that cruz is leaving inter this winter, Adriano is having bad time with Mourinho and may eventually leave also, but at least not in Jan.
RM are going mad for a striker and would do anything to "steal" one, as they always did!! Huntilar is also one of thier targets for Jan.
the true battle will be on Benzema for the summer transfer! we have made some good relations with Lyon but RM have thier own dirty ways of stealing players.
we do only need KARIM and noone else.
