"Audaces Fortuna Iuvat"
...no, I'm not crazy, that means those brave ones are protected by the luck.
As first, football is the game that lasts for 90 (+) minutes, so you have to give your best from the first till the last minute. But, I'm tired of waiting 90th or 100th minute for victorious goal, or maybe, penalty. Goddess Fortuna is on Barca side for the three last games (Betis, Espanyol, now Shakhtar). OK, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
First half, Barca had possession of the ball 60% and 2 shots on the goal. Second half, the same possession of the ball and much more better play.
I don't want to discuss about win, deserved or not. I'm glad Barca won and the fact is-you play until referee blow his whistle, so Ukrainians have no right to complain. Also, Valdes saved a few imminent chances for Shakhtar.
Well done.

It was a very important win. If we would lose then we couldn't rest our key players for the last 2 group matches. The next opponent is Basel, so we can secure our first place in this group.

i dont think its safe to assume winning any match in CL. yes we should beat basle both home and away but this season every team we play (except sporting!) have the defensive game of their lives. basle i cant see coming out all out attack they gonna sit back and we are going to have to go through 10 or probbly 11 men to get goal, which is always difficult.

as for this game i think it was a good practice for atletico as shaktar mixed attack and defence till they scored and then played counter attack. atletico's aspirations for the title mean that they will come out and try to beat us convincingly. plus they have the confidence of being our 'boogey' team recently. this means that like the shaktar game if we lose out in midfield we are going to struggle. toure and keita dont seem to work together, use busquets plus one of them and xavi.

if we beat them its another feather in peps cap, messi vs aguero! come on barca

THIS IS NOT A WELL DESERVED WIN.I DONT KNOW WHY WE SHOULD ALWAYS WAIT FOR THE DYING MINUTE BEFORE WE SECURE OUR WIN.PEPE THOUGHT THIS SHARKTAR GUYS ARE GOING TO PLAY ALL DEFENSIVELLY.THUOHG THEY DID BUT REALLY SUPRISED US THAT BROUHGT ABOUT THEIR GOAL.HE PLAYS DANI AS A MIDFIELD AND ETO'O ON THE FLANK.WHICH I THOUGHT IS NOT THE BEST FORMATION TO BREAK THE DEFENSE OF A STRONG TEAM LIKE SHARKTAR.HE SHOULD HAVE USED SOME ONE LIKE PEDRO ON THE FLANK(WHILE RESTING MESSI.)ETO IN THE MIDDLE AND INIESTA ON THE OTHER END.HENRY IS NOT SOME ONE U USE IN A GAME LIKE THAT HE CANNOT DRIBBLES ANY LONGER,SO WE CAN SEE HE IS THE ONE WHO KILLS THE GAME LAST NIGHT AND AFTER HE WAS SUB THE GAME CHANGED AND ETO'O MOVED TO THE CENTER FORWARD AND SAW HIS FIRST ATTEMPT.
