Barcelona making enquiries about Asenjo

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona keeps on gaining information on Real Valladolid goalkeeper and Spanish youth international Sergio Asenjo (19).

Barcelona goalkeeping coach Juan Carlos Unzué would this week again have talked with Valladolid goalkeeping coach Angel Félix to ask him new reports about Asenjo, who has a buyout clause of 5,5 million euro° and who is also followed by English Premier League clubs Manchester United and Liverpool.

British tabloid The People claims that Manchester Untied is leading the race for Asenjo, with Barcelona, Valencia and AC Milan as the main competitors of the English champions.
