Asked about the negative rumours surrounding the recovery of Barcelona central defender and Argentinian international Gabriel Milito (28) (read more here), Argentinian national team doctor Homero de Agostini, who is supervising the player's recovery in his home-country, has said in an interview with Catalan radio station Ona FM that it will probably take 8 or 9 months (counting from the operation in May) for Milito to be back on a football pitch:
"Milito is still in the phase of recovery. He's not yet thinking about playing again. We're now four months after the operation while back in May people talked about six to eight months before his return, so we're halfway.
The problem is not that he cannot run, the thing is that we don't allow him to run yet because we have to go through some other stages first. We want to go step by step and he's just going through the process. People have to be a little patient. I can also confirm that the player will return to Barcelona at the beginning of October."

I'm afraid the same thing will happen to Milito that happened to Andrade at Juventus.
