Why does eto'o have an assist?
The second goal was a penalty.

When there's a penalty, I award the assist to the Barcelona player who caused the penalty, Moltisanti.

ok, it just sounds strange for me. Is this a common practise?

I don't think it's a practise, Moltisanti. But it should become one in my opinion. It's just very logic. Causing a penalty is in many cases more important for scoring a goal than a pass in field play. It's like setting up the goalscoreer in a very comfortable one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Well, that's how I see it.
