Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola has yesterday announced a list of 19 players for the second game of the Champions League group stage against Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow evening at 8:45 pm.
The list:
Valdés, Pinto,
Alves, Márquez, Piqué, Puyol, Cáceres, Abidal,
Xavi, Touré, Busquets, Keita, Iniesta, Gudjohnsen,
Messi, Eto'o, Bojan, Henry, Pedro
Central defender Cáceres returns to the list. With 19 players selected, one should still fall off before the game of tomorrow.
Sylvinho and Víctor Sánchez, who has been playing the last three games with Barcelona Atlètic, are for the fourth time in a row not included, like is goalkeeper Jorquera who has recovered from his knee injury. Hleb and Milito are not available because of injuries.

Can someone please tell me why Sylvinho has not been included? tactics? no longer needed? Does anyone know something i dont know?
There was some talk about an injury but he's just training normally and the official website says he's out by Guardiola's decision, not by injury.
Guess Guardiola will leave Sylvinho and Victor Sanchez out as long as the team is winning...
But we are not willing thanks to Abidal, he has contributed nothing to the team this season. Quite the contrary since both his defensive and offensive skills has left alot to wish for, and he is personally to blame for a couple of the goals. I'm not saying Sylvinho won't make defensive mistakes, but when a player doesn't perform - get him of the pitch. Rotate the team.
winning, not willing.
