This is probably sensible as barca and madrid have a gentlemans agreement not poach each others youngsters, i wouldnt want to risk that reletionship as they could perhaps retaliate and unsettle some of our own youngsters.

I don't remember in recent memory when Barcelona has poached Madrid's players, though they have been shameless enough to poach our players. Figo has been a prime example of this fact, so has Savliola to an extent, despite of his Bosman transfer to the club.

not sure but wasn't the last player we signed from madrid youth luis enrique? that didn't turn out to bad! the business man have good relations, the fans fucking hate each other, guess thats football!

Luis Enrique was a first team player, he didn't come out of the Madrid youth ranks. He also came to us on a Bosman transfer, by the way (like Saviola the other way).

well i think its enough troubles for Spanish teams to face england parrot clubs, so its better not to start a Spanish one.

Yeah we have signed plenty of young madrid prospects in recent years, of note Iago, is possibly the best potential and may make the first team soon, others who have not done so well are Jeffrey Hoogervorst and Thaer.
