Catalan sports paper Sport claims that four current Barcelona B players will almost certainly participate in the first team pre-season: left wing attacker Gai Assulin (18), attacker Víctor Vázquez (21), polyvalent midfielder Víctor Sánchez (20) and wing attacker Pedrito (20 - picture).
Josep Guardiola has announced earlier that he could take up to seven players of the B team with him and then decide afterwards who will be able to stay with the first team (read more here).
Other players who could join in are midfielders Xavi Torres (21) and Sergi Busquets (19), left winger Jeffrén (20) and central defender Chico (21), although the future of the latter is unclear since he still belongs to third division team Cádiz.

Do we have any promising "Big strikers" coming thru youth ranks, or we r only experts with "small ultra talented"ones like bojan? not complaining but still...a mix of both will b the perfect combination;)
No doubt Bojan is unique.
However it is my believe, that players like Gai, Thiago, Gael Etock, Mauro Icardi, Botia and Alain Richard Ebwelle will have some future in Barca.
But there is a long way from being a talent, to a superstar.
damn the creazy part is that when we give this player a chanse we should keep them instead of sellin them...
like giovanni we give this greath player a chanse but at the end of the season we sold him....
its very stuped...
agreed ANON, we seem to always produce stars in our academy, so why not hold on to as much as we can especially those as promising as Dos Santos...I bet all the B players will be good in about 2 years
