Barcelona youth player Jonathan Dos Santos (17), whose contract expires at the end of the year, has declared in an interview with Catalan sports paper Sport that he would like to renew his contract shortly. The attacking midfielder is feeling comfortable in Barcelona and thinks the club is satisfied with his performance: "So, I expect to sign a new contract very soon."
Jonathan Dos Santos is the younger brother of Barcelona right winger Giovani Dos Santos (18). Both brothers joined Barcelona six years ago after Barcelona scouts spotted them at an international youth tournament. Jonathan, who is also a Mexican youth international, is currently playing for Juvenil A, the highest Barcelona youth team.

Is he as good as his brother?
Let's wait to judge. His brother was sure seen as the bigger talent of the two, but you never now how things develop.
He's also a different kind of player. Jonathan says about the difference between him and his brother: "He scores the goals, I give them."
He is very talented... I would not say he is better, he plays midfield and is said to have Xavi's skills. Giovani is very good but needs to play more so we can see the best of him.
Another Xavi... Maybe it's time we get again some defenders through from the cantera.
I agree we probably haven't seen the best of Giovani yet. Hopefully he can keep his head cool and proves his worth to the team.
guys jonathan is a much better prospect dan giovanni..... infact hes considered da next fabregas
dude he is a year younger den gio of course he is better internationaly mexico is skiping him from u 20 u 18 to d selecion asap he has been in the eyes of barca since gio left why because he is his bro gio left when he was 18 dey gave him an opertunity when he was 17 u see dey didnt commit the same mistake twice i think he is a keeper for barca nd la selecion mexicana =)
