British tabloid The Daily Mirror claims that Manchester City manager Sven-Göran Eriksson is trying to sign Barcelona right winger Giovani Dos Santos (18).
The Mexican international is represented by player's agent Pini Zahavi, who is said to have strong links with Manchester City president and Thai billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra. Zahavi would also have been in contact with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United about Giovani.
