Xavi was the best player on the pitch as far as I'm concerned, but in a game like this you shouldn't point one man who was above all, simply because with or without Xavi's performance we would have won thanks to a tremendous performance by the whole team.

Anonymous said...: I voted for Messi, I thought he was extraordinary, got a penalty, scored a cheeky goal, and had amazing runs all night and almost pulled off a Maradona goal AGAIN .. I liked his spirit, very diciplined towards other ( A.Madrid's coach Augeirre) and he did'nt make a fuss on that tackle from Antonio Lopez with his studs even though it bruised his thighs badly, should have been a straight red card.
Anyways second to Messi would be the whole team .. worked very well together, from the keeper to the forwards, just a fine piece of art. Did'nt like Eto's attitude though, I know he wanted to score a hattrick, and it's obvious he wants to be La Liga top scorer again, but he should also feel for others who deserve to get a chance to play (like Henry) so putting on that miserable face all the way till his seat was'nt a very good idea.

Being a Catlan doesn't make Poyol a good player. No wonder u ignore the mistakes he makes each time the team plays.
