British tabloid The Daily Star claims that Newcastle United is planning a bid for Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (29). Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan would have made Gudjohnsen, who is not expected to survive Barcelona's clear out at the end of the season, one of his top targets for the summer market.

10million € seems a right price
Think he could be useful since he's a type of player we don't have in the squad. But if he's never used, I think selling him is the best option, I'm sure several English clubs are interested.
