British tabloid The Sun claims that newly-formed Major League Soccer team Seattle is ready to offer Barcelona forward Thierry Henry a substantial pay rise in order to convince him to join them (read more here).
The French international should launch the new team when they make their MLS debut next year. Co-owner and multi-billionaire Paul Allen, the co-founder of the Amercican computer technology corporation Microsoft, would therefore be ready to propose Henry a deal worth 191 877 euro° a week. Barcelona is currently paying the player 162 892 euro* a week.
