100 million euro to spend

Barcelona sports paper Sport states that the Barcelona board and the technical staff have agreed that Barcelona will invest around 100 million euro° in a major squad reshuffle during the coming transfer summer. This will mainly be spend on the transfer of four players. The extra transfer money will come from two main contracts that will take effect as of next season and from the sale of players.

Although current Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard is involved in the transfer process, it's the policy of the club that the coach normally doesn't have the last word and that the Barcelona manager, whoever he may be next season, will have to work with the players put at his disposal by the club.
