Italian sports paper Il Corriere dello Sport claims that AC Milan and former Italian national team coach Marcello Lippi have started negotiations. The Italian would have put forward the names of five players he wants to see transferred if he would become the Milan manager as of next season.
Besides Ricardo Quaresma (Porto), Mauro Camoranesi (Juventus), Vincenzo Iaquinta (Juventus) and Fabio Cannavaro (Real Madrid), Lippi wants to bring in Barcelona full back Gianluca Zambrotta (31). With some of those players already hard to get anyway, Lippi would probably have to lower his wishes even more if Milan does not qualify for next season's Champions League.

Would be a surprise now if he doesn't end up in Milan this summer. Even without Lippi becoming their new president.
