Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Greek champion Olympiacos is interested in signing Barcelona left winger Santiago Ezquerro (31).
Olympiacos and Ezquerro are holding contract talks and the only remaining problem would be the salary demands of the player. The negotiations are going on.
The contract of Ezquerro at Barcelona expires in June and with Barcelona not planning to offer the wing attacker a renewal (read more here), the player is free to negotiate with other clubs. Former Espanyol manager and Barcelona player Ernesto Valverde was appointed as new Olympiacos manager on Wednesday (read more here).
