Italian sports paper La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Barcelona and AC Milan have reached a couple of months ago a verbal agreement on the transfer of Barcelona full back defender and Italian international Gianluca Zambrotta (31). Milan would pay Barcelona a transfer fee of 7 million euro (°) and will offer Zambrotta, whose contract with Barcelona expires in 2010, a long-term contract.
