Would be a great option.

I thought about him since some time ago, would be a different type of striker to come off the bench if things get tough.

ooo i really want this player in barcelona next season, he's a complete central forward (Good finisher with boot feet and headers, strong, good technic, young only 23, international player..) i would put him as the major target next year if i had the choice and i'll let eto'o go (Sounds crazy but i believe that this player have a lot to give in the high level.. HIM FOR 30m IS MORE SECURE THAN BENZEMA, at leas he will have no problem to adapte and he's already improving in "la liga" a much higher level than the french league. And, i can see a bright future for barca's attack if they can sign EL HAMDAOUI the top scorer and the best player in the dutch league, i have heard a lot about him and a probable transfer to barca next season, i saw his video in youtube, he's just amazing, very skillful and he score some beautiful goals.. fingers cross over this 2 young talented players.
