Spanish football weekly paper Don Balón claims that Barcelona forward and French international Thierry Henry (31) will be put for sale in the summer.
Although the Frenchman is performing better this season, he's still not the player the club wanted to see. Because Barcelona wants to renew and rejuvenate the squad this year, Henry will have to leave the club.
Barcelona thinks this could be an ideal time to recover part of the transfer fee paid in the summer of 2007. Henry still has a good reputation in England and English Premier League clubs Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are expected to enter the race.
Another option could be that the French striker would leave for the new American team that Barcelona is setting up in Miami (read more here). If Barcelona's bid for a place in the MLS is accepted in the coming weeks, Henry could join FCB Miami when the team starts in 2010. The French striker nevertheless would prefer to return to the English Premier League, where he would feel more comfortable football-wise.

Pep, can you make a voting post for what Barca fans think will be the starting four players in defense next season?
I think it's a little too early for that, Anony. But I take it with me for later in the year.
Henry has said he will only play for arsenal in england. he wont be joining man city or any other english club
If you can sell him to man city for 20m you must go for it. IF not, just keep him. When there's no need to sell him, you're in a stronger position to get more money!
It will be hard to find a scoring left winger though.
He has put in a lot of effort this year without complaining about his position or anything else and can still prove valuable for us next season. He will be the perfect cover for the striker next season but we do have to buy a left winger becoz i dont think he will be able to fulfill the demands of that position for much longer.

I agree with Kamikazi on this one. Henry should stay. No one in their right mind would go to Man City anyway. I would love to see him link up with Ribery particularly when Eto'o goes on international juty in Jan 10. That is of course that they both stay at the club.

...like him,but think except his presence that attracted defenders and opened spaces for the others,he never got his feet on barcas ground...the only thing we really got from him was his name...how pitty...it must be a curse for frenchmen at barca,that none of them ever integrate well into the squad...so i plead to let him leave and bring silva in who's younger,talented and surely would fit in well on the left...i'm not a benzema fan anymore because of his high and very risky prize...to add the squad with quality and open spaces for more possibilities,we must bring silva in who's also versatile and has more skills on the ball than anyone else,for me,at the moment...but time will tell...
I say he shouldn't go to MLS i think he should make a return to the Emirates Stadium i think Arsenal would do better with him and he'll be very happy i know it.
