Eto'o aint leaving. Why go for another striker then ??

When barca are looking a new striker, then roman Pavlytsenko is better than berba and cheaper. I have seen how proffesional roman is, In euro 2008 he scored 4 goals. Watch this video and then say what do you think about roman Pavlychenko.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR0iy6mmbGc

I watced this wideo and the comment above is right he is good striker and better than berbatov and actually now I like Pavlychenko

Looking at the video Pavlychenko seems lika a good bet, but i like the guy in the black hat better! Berbatov is too expensive. Plus we alredy gor that position covered! Eto'o, Henry and Bojan. I would never prefer someone else instead of our own products. Bojan will be one of the best strikers in the world, so i really think tje discusion about centre forwards should be over. Concerning the left wing I agree with the Neves-people, if he is not too expensive. Remeber that the sqaud contains Henry, Iniesta and Hleb. All of them would probably be better than anyone of the new prospects.

i think we will move for a striker, berbatov being the most accurate transfer ,we wont sign another left winger, henry will play left and we have also pedro iniesta jeffren(if he stays) hleb and bojan(hate it but i dont think guardiola will use him on the center,he seems to have adapted in the henry position taking the ball from outside and deciding then what to do)

clearly the only player that can play the cf position in our system is eto and guardiola should invest in another striker cause there is the position we lack

I am worried about Hleb how the hell is he going to take place in the starting eleven.. He is marvelleous player but too many midfielders. As about Pavluychenko he could be a good add to the squad . He is very good in the air, he can score with both feets, his shots are pretty accurate eventhough he is not that fast or a good dribler. Wouldnt go for Berba as Eto'o will obviusly stay.

Pavlychenko be the best second striker possible, with a possibility to play also as left wing attacker.

EXACTLY !! How the hell is Hleb going to find a place in the starting eleven ??
He is pure Class and he deserves better.
Why don Barca play HIM on the Left ??

That was exactly my point! Hleb and Iniesta will probably take turns with Henry on playing left wing (Iniesta did so quite often last season, and it was a good alternative). The beauty is that those two players (El vampiro and his pale belorussian cusin) can play on any offensive position except for centre forward. Whith Henry being able to play on left wing and in centre, I think the squad is perfectly balanced. Adding that Bojan is all over the place and Messi is God the setting of the team opens up a good chans to laborate a bit both during the games and starters, and also we wont be as vulnerable as last season. There will be suspensions and injurys so i can't imagine anyone not getting hours on the field. And we are entering three turnaments which commands a broad squad. No worries my little ones, this will be all good!

theres no need for 4 strikers...and next year arent we supposed to go after benzema? what happens then? 5 strikers?because then we wont sell eto'o cuz hes stayin.bojan wont go for sure...IF berbatov comes now he prolly wont leave next year...and we cant count on clubs wanting henry, and guardiola likes him in the squad anyway.then we lose a chance at benzy and madrid take him.but i dun really think its really about benzema i juss wouldnt want another striker right now.

if barca arent gonna get neVes(and its lookin like they wont)i think they shouldnt get anyone else.diego capel is NOT what barca needs...juss watch a couple of his videos and youll see why,besides...hes a big madrid fan and he hates us :b .palacio juss isnt what we need eather and hes not really a good enuff player for barca(thats what i think).i mean hes good but not great...i dont think hes a player that will excite the fans.and arshavin...i said this before i juss dont really like him, dont know why but we dont need any of them...
the only person we should buy is neVes and if hes out of the picture then we dont need anyone else.
right now it juss feels like barca have too much money and juss wanna go waste it around buying players we dont need because we can...

To clear up a few things, Pavlyuchenko is NOT, I repeat NOT a better player than Berbatov! Let's get that out of the way first. Some may argue he may be a better "fit" for Barcelona than Berbatov because of his height but 'Pavy's' not a better player than him period! It really should be a moot point anyways with Eto'o staying.

I still believe that Arshavin is either going to remain at Zenit or move to Tottenham. I just don't see him coming to Barcelona IF the Board "claim" that they will not pay an excessive amount to bring in a left winger - translation: We will not enter into a bidding war over Arshavin.

I'm sure I will be in the minority here but I prefer Palacio of the three options mentioned to fill the left wing position. While he may not possess the "playmaking" skills of Arshavin, Palacio is a capable scorer. Sign him to a three year deal while players such as Jeffren and Pedro continue to mature and gain experience while waiting for their turn. Palacio, like Arshavin can fill in either as a winger or secondary striker and probably would come at a much lower price tag to boot. I like Arshavin but I feel his best position would be in an attacking midfielder, "playmaker" role rather than a winger. Palacio on the other hand seems more like a "natural" winger to begin with.

What does he mean? Will Pedro, Jeffren, Sanchez, Vazguez and Busquets return to Barca Athletic?
