Henrique still hopes to convince Guardiola

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona central defender Henrique Adriano Buss (22) isn't thinking about leaving Barcelona.

The Brazilian player would be aware that he will have to improve but still has the hope to convince Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola of his qualities.

Henrique wouldn't have problems if he would have to start the season as last centre-back option, even behind youth players Muniesa and Fontàs.

Barcelona nevertheless would plan to let Henrique leave on loan for a second year, although the player hasn't yet been officially informed. No one from the technical staff would have informed Henrique about the decision and Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain didn't yet contact the player's agents Marcos and Naor Malaquías on the issue. It is believed Barcelona could be waiting to see what happens during the last weeks of the transfer market.

Another 8m euros down the toilet. Just like Hleb and Caceres. They will all probably leave for free next year. Keirrison will probably be another 15m euros down the toilet. We sign him, we have 4 players for 3 positions up front, but decide to loan him to Benfica where he will probably sit on the bench as they are stacked up front. Great deal!

Pep propbably didn't want Keirrison either. It is just some corruption with Txiki and Traffic/Palmeiras that makes us sign these players. I am angry because of this.

where have all these traffic conspiracy theories come from? just because we look for talent in the country that has produced the most quality players and traffic has pretty much a monopoly on these players?

Looking for talent, that's what we should do indeed. But this guy doesn't seem te be a talent, that's the problem.

I understand why Guardiola doesn't rate him. Even with an extra year, he's not Barça quality. Now the question is: why the scouts didn't see this (while it's pretty obvious)?

We don't look for talent in Brazil. We just look for players that Pep doesn't want. Henrique was far from impressive in Brazil and Palmeiras' fans were happy to see Keirrison leave. Lazy player, and invisible when playing against stronger teams. Look at how Palmeiras have done since Keirrison left. They are leading the table.

How do we know he is a flop? Because he has trained with the team for 3 weeks and the papers seem to think he isn't ready? Give the man some time....
