Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona and Racing Santander have reached an agreement on the transfer of Barcelona Atlètic wing attacker Jeffren Suárez (21).
Racing could sign Jeffren this summer for a price the club can freely choose, with Barcelona having the right to buy the player back for the double of the transfer fee later.
The agreement will nevertheless only become effective if Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola decides not to count on Jeffren, whose contract expires in 2010, for the coming season. The winger, who would accept to join Racing if he won't be promoted to Barcelona's first team, would be close to staying although the Super Cup game against Athletic on Sunday could be a last and decisive test.

Dont´t do that. we have no wingers, we have hardly options in the offense if messi or someone els is injured. our squad is too small. keep Jeffren and keep Pedro...
our squad keeps getting smaller and smaller ...
i sure hope laporta and txiki have something up their sleeves ... :( :(
sad news, i hope not true! jeffren is damn good, and we need this guy!
We can't lose Jeffren. Pure winger with pace and a nose for goal. No way!
OMG Wtf is wrong with the team this season? Guardiola keep saing that the squad is small and that new players will arrive, but I only see players leaving. We need, and thats soon, to sign some new players!!!!
This only means we are indeed in for some winger/striker or AMF/Winger. I would like the latter more, because that would provide Xavi and Iniesta an occasional rest :)
Jeez, calm down people.
As the article states, he WON'T move unless Guardiola says so. So unless we already have a replacement lined up, he'll stay at Barca.
Jeffren looks like a Nani clone
