Brazilian right back Mattioni has been offered

Catalan radio station RAC 1 claims that Grêmio right back defender Felipe Mattioni (21) has been offered to Barcelona.

Mattioni could be one of the many candidates to strenghten the right back position. The Brazilian defender played on loan with AC Milan during the first half of 2009 but the Italian club decided not to use the first option they had to buy Mattioni

Mattioni is represented by Mino Raiola, the agent of Barcelona players Ibrahimovic and Maxwell, who said a few days ago that he was talking with Barcelona about a third player. The radio station claims that the transfer fee of Mattioni would be around 3 million euro.

Asked about the rumours linkig him with a move to Barcelona, Mattioni confirmed in an interview with Catalan radio station RAC 1 that Barcelona could be interested: "I'm waiting to see what will happen. There are possibilities, for me it would be a dream to play at Barça."

I think he will be a better cheap option than Ebuoe but the idea is will signing players from Brazil directly fit?I dont know after I watched Henrique who also had a year loan also so I really dont know

Better yet, he’s not even good enough for Milan to want to keep him…

Nice try, Raiola. We'll have problems with this guy.

gourcuff wasnt good enough for milan either...just saying

I think that Milan didn't want him because they don't have money to buy him.

And I agree with the previous post. Not getting Gourcoff back was a huge mistake. He could have filled the void left by Kaka without any problems. What a talent.

@BarcaFan
if he really cost 3 mill then why didn't milan keep him if hes good enough?? i know milan don't have money but 3 mill?? really?? does anyone know how good he is??

Gourcuff played for milan and looked rather ordinary thats why they sent him on loan. beware, he could be another quaresma. Great at a small club and struggles at the big ones.

In the end, he was too young for Milan. They said: "Come back in 10 years."

he looks like a promising talent.. the only problem with this move for me is the fact that raiola is trying to get us to buy ALL of his players..

To bad Raiola only has crappy players

i certainly havn't seen him play (as far as i can remember). but looks like NO ONE here (either for or against) have seen this guy play. all this speculation is USELESS... go play detective else where.

So let's get this straight: Pep will give a chance to an unknown unexperienced player instead playing Caceres or Henrique. Hmm doesn't make sense to me. Eboue seems like the best solution at this moment but 8 mil is too much.
