Barcelona rejects loaning Bojan to RS Belgrade

Catalan spors paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Red Star Belgrade wants to sign Barcelona forward and Spanish youth international Bojan Krkic on loan this winter.

Red Star Belgrade president Dobrivoje Tanasijevic "Dan Tana" would already have informed Barcelona president Joan Laporta twice about the wish of his club.

Red Star Belgrade would like to use the transfer to turn around the bad situation the club is currently living. Bojan's father is Serbian and despite the striker having chosen to represent Spain, he's very popular in Serbia.

Barcelona is nevertheless not considering to let Bojan leave on loan during the winter transfer window because manager Josep Guardiola counts on the player for the rest of the season.

Guardiola doesn't use him, so I almost forget how does this boy look like. It's sad to see such a talent heating bench. I don't get a point. He could easily play against the teams like Mallorca. I hope Barca don't sell him, that would be disaster. Loan is good option.

Easy HouseMD Laporta has given him his backing. He will not be sold. He is just 18 after all and he played so much last year that he was completely burnt out by the time the euros came around. Even messi was eased into the team by rijkaard. Bojan will get more chances in the second half of the season. The club isnt allowing him to go out on loan for a reason after all. And next year when etoo goes to the African Nations cup he will get even more playing time.

i think you are wrong because i think last day against mallorca it was i mistory to me why he didnt play cause eto was very bad and he should jump in, in the second half.

And i think he should be loaned, its amazing why Guadiola doesnt like bojan !

Yeah i agree that bojan should have gotten some time against mallorca, but i think he will get some time in the midweek copa del rey. I dont think guardiola does not like bojan, but keep in mind that our foward line is henry etoo messi hleb bojan and pedro.

Bojan is the only real backup centre foward in the squad. I cant see barca letting him go. Any injury to etoo and bojan will have to fill in. There was a rumour that guardiola didnt like bojan because he abandoned the atletic team last year, but that was mostly speculation.

Laporta has given bojan his backing. Do not worry, bojan will get his chance. he is only 18. We do not want him to burn out by age 28 like raul did.

I think Bojan just didn't get minutes against Mallorca because of Alves having to replace Victor Sanchez and then Marquez getting injured. And Sylvinho was the third man coming in since Iniesta had already replaced Hleb.

I think we shouldn't worry too much, he's only 18. How many 18-year olds have a starting spot at a European top club?

I hope he'll get his chance as soon as possible. The only thing I'm afraid of is that he will ask for exit if Guardiola stubbornly continue to ignore him.

@barca4life: I was (partially) backing you at post "Happy 2009" although you insulted me on Messi issue last year vs Villarreal. :)

Bojan will not go anywhere. I am sure about it. Not in the next years at least.
I think he will have in mind Dos Santos decision (who went to Tottenham an is now in a frosen situation).
He is very young and needs to have patient and i think he have.

The club concerns Bojan as a own product from La Masia and it is an honnor to develop home pruducts.

The club also learn of eariler misstakes like with Fabregas.

Remember that Bojan is one of the biggest talent beeing in the youth, scooring around 700 goals as a young player.
He needs a time to be more mature and sooner or later we will have a really big player.

HouseMD i apologize if i insulted you. Sometimes things get heated, but the important thing is we all love barca enough to come onto this site and post our opinions right? :)

Of course :)
I'm not easy-to-insult one. BTW, sometimes I say what's on my mind without rethinking did I insult someone. That's it.
As soon as I visit Israel I'll let you know. :)
